Car Insurance Plymouth (Car Insurance). A gmc suburban?????????????A gmc suburban????????????? Today I saw a gmc suburban I thought chevy made those? Also what is the difference between the gmc 1500 and a chevy tahoe Chevy and GMC make the same trucks, The only difference is the grills, and the name. Sometimes they even share names. 1500 is used to signify what ton the truck is rated to carry. A 1500 is a 1/2 Ton Truck, a 2500 is a 3/4 Ton Truck, and a 3500 is a 1 Ton Truck. Pickups and Suburbans can be 1500,2500, or 3500. I believe Tahoes are only come in 1500's or 1/2 tons. Chevy does make the Suburban, but they use to use the same name because they were the same vehicle and still are(Now GMC uses the Yukon name). The GMC 1500(I assume you mean the Yukon) and Tahoe are the same thing minus the lights and grille General motors is the parent company of GMC, Caddilac and Chevy. GMC is the "Professional Grade" and Cadillac is "luxury" and Chevy is the in between. they're virtually the same the only thing that changes might be the front, interior the gmc is more luxury, but in some cases is just the name that changes Auto parts : Door Storage Rack Acura 1995 . Also, will I have to do any computer work as well? and if so, how will I be able to do that, and whats a good tuner with good tunes. Plymouth . How to Change the Fuel Filter on a 1998 Buick RegalBuick Regals came equipped with a one-piece fuel sending unit, an in-tank fuel pump and a fuel filter for the 1998 model year. Debris and small particulates that could foul the injectors are removed by the fine screen of the filter. Fuel filters may be cleaned with solvent and compressed air, but if they become too dirty, they must be replaced. Symptoms of a clogged fuel filter include poor performance, rough idle, hard starting, stumbling upon acceleration, engine misses, stalling and eventually a non-running condition. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Fuse puller Wrench set Inside snap-ring pliers Flat screwdriverRelieve the Fuel Pressure Step by Step : 1 Open the fuel door, then remove the fuel cap by hand. 2 Locate the fuse box under the passenger side of the dashboard. Open the fuse box, then remove the fuel pump fuse with a fuse puller. 3 Start the engine. Run the engine until it stalls from lack of fuel. Turn the engine over with the key for three seconds to finish purging the fuel system. 4 Open the hood, then remove the battery's negative cable with a wrench. Fuel Filter Access Step by Step : 1 Open the trunk. Pull the bottom liner free from the trunk by hand, then remove it fully from the vehicle. 2 Remove seven nuts holding down the fuel pump access cover, using a wrench. Lift the cover up and off the cover studs. 3 Remove the fuel pump retainer with a pair of inside snap-ring pliers. Carefully lift the pump assembly out of the tank. Use caution when handling the pump assembly, as the float and float arm are delicate and can be easily damaged. 4 Carefully pry the fuel filter off the pump intake nipple, using a flat screwdriver. 5 Install the new fuel filter onto the pump intake nipple. 6 Reverse the disassembly steps to reassemble the fuel filter on the Regal. Tips & Warnings If you are replacing the fuel filter as part of troubleshooting a fuel delivery problem, inspect the fuel pump fuse after removing from the fuse box. Inspect the fuse through its sight window to see if it is blown. The conductor in the fuse sight window will be burned if the fuse is blown. Replace the fuse if it is blown and test the vehicle before replacing the fuel filter. Use caution when working on a gasoline fuel system. Perform all operations in a well-ventilated area, away from enclosed spaces or pilot lights (such as on a natural gas water heater). Use caution when using steel tools on the fuel system, as a spark could ignite gas fumes and cause an explosion. If your Buick Regal is equipped with a Theft-lock system, disable the lockout feature before disconnecting the battery cable. Plymouth . How to Change the Fuel Filter on a 2005 KIA SorentoYou may have heard that the fuel filter on a 2005 KIA Sorento is a permanent filter, and that you don't have to worry about it unless you have a problem. This is not true; replacing your fuel filter is a very important part of the routine maintenance of your car, and extends the life of your Sorento. It's recommended to replace the fuel filter every two years or 24,000 miles. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Flat-head screwdriver Phillips screwdriver Pencils Ratchet set Replacement fuel filter Step by Step : 1 Park your car in the shade, turn it off, lift the hood and let it cool off for at least 15 minutes. Extinguish cigarettes or other lit objects because these may start a fire. 2 Use a flat-head screwdriver to take off the plastic covering on top of the engine and look for the fuel line. It is a thin, long tube that runs to the fuel tank and connects to the fuel filter with a little clamp. 3 Use a Phillips screwdriver to pry the clamp off, and then immediately stick a pencil into the end of the fuel line to stop it up and prevent gas from dripping out. 4 Locate the bolts that hold the fuel filter in place. Find a socket that fits the bolts, loosen them and take off the filter. Remove the hose coming out of the other end of the filter just like you removed the fuel line in Step 2. Plug it up with another pencil. 5 Position the replacement filter the same way the old filter was positioned, so the fuel will flow in the correct direction through the filter. 6 Locate the two plastic shafts coming out of each end of the filter where you attach the hoses. When you reattach the hoses, push the hoses as far as possible into the plastic shafts. Reattach the hoses in reverse order you took them off in Steps 2 and 4. 7 Check that all reassembled hoses and clips are tight and secure. Turn on your car and run the engine for 2 to 3 minutes. Look at the connections and hoses around the fuel filter and check that no fuel leaks out. Tips & Warnings If you notice that the hoses running into and out from your fuel filter are getting frayed or brittle, buy new hoses and replace them next time you change your fuel filter. *freak decided to invent a machine that could move itself, and the first engine appeared. Today, most people possess vehicles that can move themselves. True, you have to tell your car when to go and when to stop, and you have to steer it in the proper direction and keep it in good running order, but any vehicle is basically a set of wheels with an engine to turn them. The internal combustion engine, which still forms the "heart" of most vehicles, is a lightweight, fairly efficient, and relatively uncomplicated piece of machinery. It works on a mixture of gasoline and air to produce enough power to turn a shaft that turns the wheels. The basic gizmos on your car are simply the things that bring the fuel and air together in the proper quantities, ignite them, and channel the resulting power to the wheels. All the rest of the stuff is there to make this happen with ease and efficiency, to provide you with some control over what's going on, and to give you a place to sit and to stow your groceries. For a look at the future, check out the alternatively fueled vehicles described in Chapter 7. Part II: What Makes It Go?. In this chapter, I give you a brief overview of how each of the basic systems in a vehicle with a standard internal combustion engine functions and how these systems work together to make the vehicle run. Don't worry about what model you own; every vehicle with an internal combustion engine 228

By viewing your vehicle as a series of simple systems, each with a specific job to do, you can stop seeing it as a dismaying collection of wires, hoses, and gizmos and be able to deal with it easily and confidently. Once you've gotten a general idea of how things work, the rest of the chapters in Part II explore each system in detail. When you've become familiar with how a system functions, you're ready to tackle the chapter in Part HI that shows you how to work on that system. Every car manufacturer makes sure to do something a little bit differently than the competition does so that it can get patents and say that its vehicles are the best. Also, the location and looks of the engine and transmission in rear-engine cars and front-wheel drive vehicles are different from those with traditional front engines and rear-wheel drive. Therefore, if any part of your vehicle is not exactly where it is in the pictures in this chapter, don't panic. Believe me, the part is in there someplace, or your car wouldn't go. If you have trouble finding something, your owner's manual should have a diagram (which was probably gibberish to you until you bought this book) showing the location of each principal part. You can also ask a friend who has a similar vehicle, or your friendly automotive technician, to point out these "missing" parts. I'm willing to bet, however, that if you read this chapter carefully with an eye on your own vehicle, you can locate almost all the parts yourself. / Although you certainly don't need them to get through this book, it's good to have both an owner's manual and a service manual for every vehicle you Plymouth . Service manuals are also available for every vehicle, and I strongly suggest that you get one of these as well. Every auto repair facility cannot stock a service manual for each year, make, and model of every vehicle, and if you lend your service manual to an inde pendent service facility that is working on your car, you can save money by reducing the time it would take them to figure out the proper way to repair it. Also, if you get to the point where you want to do more than basic repairs, one of these manuals will be indispensable. The drawings in service manuals show you where every little screw and washer fits so that you won't end up Plymouth . Images of buugati veryon and maserati bridcage?
